Terms of use.

Effective 2 July 2026

These terms apply when you use the Runsheet app or website. By creating an account or using Runsheet, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions? Email hello@runsheet.site.

What Runsheet is

Runsheet is an app for managing live event run sheets in real time. Managers build a sheet of timed tasks, crew members tick tasks off as they work — optionally with photo evidence — and everyone sees progress live. We provide the app on iOS and Android, along with the syncing, notification, and sharing services behind it.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and what happens under it. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and give us accurate information. You must be at least 16 to use Runsheet. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Acceptable use

Use Runsheet for its intended purpose — running events. You agree not to:

Your content

You own your content — the sheets, tasks, notes, and photos you put into Runsheet. So that the app can work, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content, solely to operate and improve the service — for example, syncing a sheet to the crew you've shared it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for short-lived backup copies.

You're responsible for the content you upload, including making sure you have permission to share any photos of people or property.

Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription, billed through the App Store or Google Play. Pricing, billing periods, and cancellation are handled by the relevant store under its terms — manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Runsheet reliable, but it's provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect you where we can.

No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runsheet is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Live events are unforgiving; Runsheet is a tool to help you run them, not a guarantee that nothing will go wrong. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss — including lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from an event that didn't go to plan. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or NZ$100 if you paid nothing.

Termination

You can stop using Runsheet and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account in the app). We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms. The sections on your content licence (during any wind-down), warranties, and liability survive termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Runsheet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
